It's been a bit difficult to find time to go walking of late, mainly due to ongoing preparations for our forthcoming wedding! Nevertheless, bus journeys, and the odd little stroll we have managed, have revealed lots to see. The roadsides and meadows are full of colour at the moment; a rich tapestry of hues provided by greater knapweed, lady's bedstraw, yarrow and a whole host of other flowers including gorgeous pyramidial orchids.
Cinnebar moth catapillars seem to be particularly abundant at the moment.
